Brenda Emery has lived in the Frederick area since 2015 as an out and proud Trans Woman. Brenda graduated from Saint Joseph’s University (Class of ‘16) in Philadelphia, PA with a degree in Theatre and Film and minor in Psychology and Art with a concentration in Photography. She continues to pursue artistic endeavors in her spare time. Brenda is also a member of the Frederick Women’s Rugby Football Club, where she has experience serving on the executive board as Treasurer. Through rugby, she takes pride in representing trans people in sports and fostering community for queer people both on and off the pitch. Brenda is ecstatic to work for the Frederick Center and give back to the local LGBTQ community.
