Clare has been an Emergency Room nurse for 12 years,and also serves as the LGBTQ Resource Nurse, and LGBTQ Committee Co-Chair for Sibley Memorial Hospital of Johns Hopkins Medicine. In this role, she provides LGBTQ health education for staff, community outreach, and advocacy for patients, as well as, employees. Also, an Emergency nurse at Frederick Memorial Hospital, Clare has implemented LGBTQ health education, and continues to encourage inclusive practices within the organization. Clare is also certified in Plant Based Nutrition, and passionate animal rights advocate. Clare lives in Frederick with her wife, Cheryl, and dog, Pumpkin.
