Youth Pride Prom: Out Loud and Proud
LGBTQ+ youth, allies, friends and community are all welcome to join us for YOUTH PRIDE PROM 2025! Here at The Frederick Center, you can be your best and truest self with your friends while celebrating Frederick Pride. Dance, enjoy the best queer music, play games, and party the night away in your favorite LGBTQ+ community center. From 6:00-9:00pm on Saturday, June 14th, the Frederick Center will be transformed into a magical dance floor and party space. There is no dress code! Come in your favorite suit and tie, come dressed to the nines, or wear what makes you feel like your best self. We can't wait to see you there!
Frederick Pride Prom: The Beast Within
Do you want another shot at the classic youth experience of prom-- this time as your truest self? Join us for an event full of radical acceptance, community connection, and queer goodness! The Frederick Center and Frederick Pride presents: The Beast Within- A Pride Prom Halloween! Dress to impress and to scare, go dancing, enjoy light refreshments Frederick Social's drink wall! Featuring best costume, best dressed, and best drag competitions WITH PRIZES! All proceeds from this event go towards The Frederick Center.
PFLAG Kindness Rocks
Come paint kind messages and images on rocks to leave around Frederick! All supplies are provided and all are welcome. Organized by Frederick PFLAG, this is a great way to spend a day with some positivity! Located at The Frederick Center on April 12th from 12-2pm. We hope to se you there!
LGBTQ+ Free Legal Clinic
Need legal advice? We've got you covered! Get support from knowledgable lawyers regarding family law, estate planning, guardianship, name changes, landlord-tenant, criminal law, adoption and other civil legal matters. This free legal advice clinic is open to all and affirming for the LGBTQ+ community. Register for free, and join us on April 10th.
Transgender Day of Visibility
Celebrate Transgender Day of Visibility with The Frederick Center on Sunday, March 30th from 2:00-4:00pm! Join us for a celebration filled with trans joy, including face painting, community crafts, music, food, and a phoenix ceremony to say goodbye to our deadnames and rise from the ashes in unity. TDOV exists to uplift, honor, and celebrate the transgender+ community, gender diversity, and fight transphobia. 🏳️⚧️🏳️⚧️ This event is free, all ages, and all are welcome! We can’t wait to celebrate TDOV with you again this year.
Queer and Trans Clothes Swap
On March 23rd from 1:00-4:00pm at The Frederick Center, join a clothes swap! Everything is free! Bring a bag and take what you want-- take a gender, leave a gender, or just try one on for the day! All ages and all are welcome.
