Night Out at the Keys
Keep the Pride Vibes going with your favorite local baseball team at Night Out at the Keys! On July 8th, dawn your pride gear and watch Ms. Gay Maryland serve the first pitch and celebrate pride with your community. We hope to see you out at the ball game!
Frederick Pride Parade 2026
Join us for the SECOND ANNUAL FREDERICK PRIDE PARADE! This year, we are thrilled to feature fellow nonprofits, local businesses, clubs, bands, sports teams, and more at Frederick Pride's Parade! Support our community and be a part of the magic starting at 7pm in Downtown Frederick. The parade follows the same route as the Annual Kris Kringle Parade. Bring your flags and your pride, and we'll see you there to fill the streets of downtown with music, cheering, and immutable joy of the LGBTQ+ community.
Multifaith Pride Service
Held at Grace United Church of Christ, folks of all walks of faith are welcome to join us for the Multifaith Pride Service on Thursday, June 25th from 7:00-8:30pm. We hope to see you there!
Drag Queen Story Time
Come interact with our colorful, wonderful drag talent, and listen to them read books! On June 20th at the Hood College Library, all ages will be entertained by the storytelling talents of our drag queen as she reads from books that depict themes of love, acceptance, and silliness! Tickets for adults are $10, and kids under 18 get in free. We hope to see you there! Books are donated from Curious Iguana.
Queer Open Mic Night
Join us at The Frederick Center to celebrate Pride and express yourself with fellow community members, friends, and allies! Piano, guitar, slam poetry, spoken word, a portion of your fanfiction, juggling, interpretive dances, and more! ALL CREATIVES are welcome to perform! We will have our piano and a guitar available for performers to use, or you can bring your own instruments. Have your voice heard by your community, celebrate queerness, and show your pride! This event is FREE, for all ages, and families are welcome to attend! We hope to see you there.
Imbibe With Pride

Youth Pride Prom (18 & Under): Hollywood Glam!
LGBTQ+ youth and their friends ages 9-18 are invited to join us for an evening full of dancing, music, drag performances, and fabulousness! Black-Eyed Suzy will be DJing with the best tunes for dancing with friends, plus drag performances. We will have food, beverages, and potion pops by Incantation Hair Studios! Queer Craft Nights ~ May
Craft alongside fellow queer crafty folks on Fridays May 8th and 22nd at The Frederick Center! From 6-9pm, bring your own craft, socialize with friends, and enjoy community in an affirming space. We hope to see you there!
Queer and Trans Clothing Swap
You asked, and we answered! Our next clothing swap will be in May on the 16th from 1:00pm-5:00pm at The Frederick Center. How does this work? We are accepting clothing donations during the week prior to the swap event from May 11th - 15th at the Center from 9:00am til 4:00pm. Bring your clean, gently used, good-condition clothes to the Center, stick around for a few minutes while we double check your items, and be on your way! Items that cannot be accepted will be asked to be taken out with you when you go. Please DO NOT bring donations of clothes: - with holes or serious damage - dirty with stains, smells, etc - from homes with recent (within 1 year) instances of pets such as lice, bed bugs, fleas, etc. Then, on Saturday the 16th, ANYONE is welcome, whether they donated or not, to come and take home as many clothing items as they want! From 1-5pm, the Center will be open and full of clothes that are free to a good home. This event is FREE, open to ALL AGES and ALL GENDERS! We hope to see you there!

The Frederick Center hosts four free LGBTQ+ Legal Advice Clinics per year! Register and join us to receive legal assistance at the clinic.

‘Somewhere in Nowhere’: Author Talk and Signing with Steven Gellman
An award-winning songwriter turned author, Somewhere in Nowhere is Steven Gellman's debut novel. This coming-of-age novel follows Simon, a senior in high school, as he navigates new friendships, a potential crush, and strange "attacks" that have been happening every night. This will be a moderated author talk with Vanessa Vida Kelley and Gellman. Join us on Saturday, April 18th at The Frederick Center to get your book and meet the author! This event is FREE, with copies of the book available for purchase!
