FREDERICK PRIDE FESTIVAL 2025
On Saturday, June 28th, join us for a fun-filled day of festivities at the Frederick Pride Festival! From 11:00am-6:00pm, Carroll Creek park will feature music performances, drag performances, local businesses and nonprofit vendors, a children's area, local food trucks, a beer and wine garden with local beverage vendors, DJ sets from the best DJs we have to offer, and MORE! Join one of the largest pride festivals in Maryland and CELEBRATE FREDERICK PRIDE!
FREDERICK PRIDE PARADE 2025
On Friday, June 27th, you're invited to the first-ever Frederick Pride Parade! At 7:00pm, the streets of Downtown Frederick will be filled with the LGBTQ+ community, supporters, friends, and allies. Floats filled with organizations, clubs, drag queens, and a FREDERICK PRIDE COURT will be parading through our city. Come out to the inaugural Frederick Pride parade with your pride flags, rainbow garb, and be a part of Frederick Pride history!
Night Out at the Keys
Join the LGBTQ+ community for a night of family fun at the Frederick Keys! Featuring Maranda Rights who will be throwing the first pitch at the game, this is the best way to kick off Frederick Pride weekend in 2025. Buy your tickets through the Keys website. We hope to see you there!
Youth Pride Prom: Out Loud and Proud
LGBTQ+ youth, allies, friends and community are all welcome to join us for YOUTH PRIDE PROM 2025! Here at The Frederick Center, you can be your best and truest self with your friends while celebrating Frederick Pride. Dance, enjoy the best queer music, play games, and party the night away in your favorite LGBTQ+ community center. Frederick Pride is proud to announce we will be featuring Drag persona BLACK EYED SUZY as our guest DJ for Youth Pride Prom! From 6:00-9:00pm on Saturday, June 14th, the Frederick Center will be transformed into a magical dance floor and party space. There is no dress code! Come in your favorite suit and tie, come dressed to the nines, or wear what makes you feel like your best self. We can't wait to see you there!
Drag Queen Story Time
We are thrilled to welcome our community back to Hood College for Drag Queen Story Time. Join us on Saturday, June 14th at 10:00am at Hood College's Beneficial-Hodson Library for a vibrant and inclusive event that combines the art of drag performance with the joy of storytelling to create a unique and entertaining experience for children and families. The event aims to promote diversity, acceptance, and inclusivity by breaking down stereotypes and encouraging a celebration of individuality. Drag queens, known for their glamorous and theatrical personas, captivate young audiences with their colorful costumes, elaborate makeup, and dynamic personalities. We are thrilled to be hosting Jayden Elyse, who will be reading for this storytime! This event costs $10 per adult, with youth under 18 attending for free, and all proceeds from this event directly benefit The Frederick Center's Youth Groups, which support the LGBTQ+ youth of Frederick County and beyond. Any attendee of this event certifies that they will abide by The Frederick Center's values of kindness, acceptance, and family-friendly behavior. Anti-LGBTQ+ rhetoric will not be tolerated at this event.
Brunswick Pride Proclamation
Celebrate the kickoff of pride month by joining us at the Brunswick Pride Proclamation! On Tuesday, June 10th at 6:00pm, the Brunswick City Council will formally declare June as Pride Month! Join us for this momentous occasion.
Pre Pride Wine Tasting: It’s All About the Bubbles, Baby!
Champagne, Cava, Prosecco, Asti Spumonti, Sparkling Wine: So many bubbles, so little time! How are they similar and different? And while we're at it, Extra Brut, Brut, Extra Dry, Sec, and Demi-sec are used to describe these sparkling wines -- what do those terms mean? Spin the Bottle experts share knowledge plus tastings of a range of sparkling wines at this Spin the Bottle Frederick PrePride Wine Tasting. As an added bonus, event organizer Spin the Bottle will donate 10% of all bottle sales after the tasting to The Frederick Center. It's all about the bubbles, baby! Seating is limited. Frederick Pride Prom: The Beast Within
Do you want another shot at the classic youth experience of prom-- this time as your truest self? Join us for an event full of radical acceptance, community connection, and queer goodness! The Frederick Center and Frederick Pride presents: The Beast Within- A Pride Prom Halloween! Dress to impress and to scare, go dancing, enjoy light refreshments Frederick Social's drink wall! Featuring best costume, best dressed, and best drag competitions WITH PRIZES! All proceeds from this event go towards The Frederick Center.
Pride at the Pool
Pride at the Pool is back!! In partnership with Brunswick City, we are thrilled to create a safe and affirming space for celebration and splashing and swimming at the Brunswick Municipal Pool. From 6-8pm on June 6th, join us and jump into pride month! This event is free, for all ages, and everyone is welcome.
Frederick Pride Proclamation
Join us as we kick off June at our annual Frederick Pride Proclamation at Frederick City Hall!! On June 5th at 7:00pm, the City of Frederick recognizes the start of Pride month and designates an official proclamation. YOU'RE INVITED to celebrate with us!
Frederick Pride Pageant ~ King, Queen, and Mx!
Frederick Pride and the Lodge are hosting the first-ever PRIDE PAGEANT to determine the KING, QUEEN, AND MX of Frederick Pride 2025! Performers are competing to win high-praise titles and a special place in the Frederick Pride Parade.
