Peer-to-peer support is the foundation by which The Frederick Center built its organization. We offer programs for all ages and backgrounds!

Beginning at age nine, we offer programming that offers both formal and informal gatherings for LGBTQ+ youth, adults, and non-LGBTQ+ caregivers. Click below and find our available groups and meeting times.

Frederick Pride!

SAVE THE DATE for this year’s FREDERICK PRIDE PARADE AND FESTIVAL! THE ANTICIPATION BEGINS for Frederick Pride 2026!

On the final weekend in June 2026, the local LGBTQ+ community gathers together alongside our friends, families, and allies to celebrate and uplift each other with love and pride.

On Friday, 6/26/2026, join us for our second annual Frederick Pride Parade at 7:00pm! We will be marching throughout the streets of Downtown Frederick with color, music, and tangible queer joy.

On Saturday, 6/27/2026 from 11:00am-6:00pm, Frederick Pride welcomes you to beautiful Carroll Creek in the heart of Downtown Frederick to celebrate the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer+ community.

Join us to enjoy drag performances, a food court of the best local food trucks, hand-picked musical guests, hundreds of local vendors and nonprofit organizations, a designated beverage garden with the top local breweries and wineries, a pride shop, a children’s area, and more!

We can’t wait to welcome you back to Frederick Pride, so mark your calendars for June 26th and 27th!

Queeraoke with Black-Eyed Suzy

Join us to sing along to your favorite songs on Saturday, August 1st at 6pm at Queeraoke! This event will be hosted by our beloved Black-Eyed Suzy! Queeraoke is for everyone ages 21+, and donations at the event go to benefit TFC. We hope to see you there!

Held at Grace United Church of Christ, folks of all walks of faith are welcome to join us for the Multifaith Pride Service on Thursday, June 25th from 7:00-8:30pm. We hope to see you there!

Queer Open Mic Night

Join us at The Frederick Center to celebrate Pride and express yourself with fellow community members, friends, and allies! Piano, guitar, slam poetry, spoken word, a portion of your fanfiction, juggling, interpretive dances, and more! ALL CREATIVES are welcome to perform! We will have our piano and a guitar available for performers to use, or you can bring your own instruments. Have your voice heard by your community, celebrate queerness, and show your pride! This event is FREE, for all ages, and families are welcome to attend! We hope to see you there.
