At The Frederick Center, we believe in the importance of fostering inclusivity and creating safe spaces for all members of our community. Since 2013, our Community Center has provided crucial resources, advocacy, and support to LGBTQ+ individuals in Frederick County. As one of two LGBTQ+ Centers in Maryland, our work saves lives every day. Over 400 new clients came to the Center last year, looking for a place to belong. We helped them find that place.

None of this is possible without the generous support of our Frederick Community. We are excited to invite you to participate in our Pride Month initiative by donating a portion of your June proceeds to The Frederick Center. Your contribution will directly support their programs and services, including educational workshops, weekly peer support groups, and outreach efforts aimed at promoting acceptance and understanding.

Here’s how you can get involved:

1. Commit to Donate: Decide on a portion of June proceeds you would like to donate to The Frederick Center. Whether it’s 5%, 10%, or another amount, every contribution makes a difference!

2. Spread the Word: Let your customers know about your commitment to supporting LGBTQ+ advocacy during Pride Month. We can provide promotional materials and social media graphics to help spread the word and encourage participation.

3. Impact and Recognition: Your business will be recognized as a proud supporter of LGBTQ+ rights and inclusion in our community. We will highlight your generosity on our website, social media channels, and in our Pride Festival programming to drive attendees to visit your business the weekend of June 22nd!
