Peer-to-peer support is the foundation by which The Frederick Center built its organization. We offer programs for all ages and backgrounds!
Beginning at age nine, we offer programming that offers both formal and informal gatherings for LGBTQ+ youth, adults, and non-LGBTQ+ caregivers. Click below and find our available groups and meeting times.

Drag shows, bingo, brunches, sober tea dances, parties, and social networking, the Frederick Center has a little bit of everything for any LGBTQ+ person looking to meet others in a safe and affirming environment.
Frederick Pride!
The Frederick Center organizes the annual Frederick Pride celebration. Pride provides an environment for LGBTQ people, allies, and families to interact and celebrate LGBTQ pride. It serves as the means to coordinate the actions of our community for the coming year. Typically it takes place the fourth Saturday in June. Started in 2012 with an attendance of about 300, it surpassed 30,000 in 2022. For latest info see our web page here.
